✨ Sparkling Engagements is a luxury picnic experience company based in the town of Charlevoix in Northern Michigan. We create styled lakeside picnic celebrations — from romantic date nights and marriage proposals to birthdays, girls’ nights, and family gatherings. Each setup is designed with custom décor, cozy details, and upgrade options to add extra sparkle to your special moment. 🌸🥂🌅

✨ Our Base Picnic Package starts at $350 for two guests. This includes a styled low picnic table, cozy blankets and rugs, soft pillows, elegant décor (candles, lanterns, and seasonal floral touches), full table settings (plates, glassware, napkins, and cutlery), bottled sparkling or still water, and two hours of picnic time. We handle the full setup and clean-up so you can simply arrive and enjoy.

🌸 For larger gatherings, you can extend your picnic to up to 8 guests at $25 per additional person. This is perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, girls’ nights, or family celebrations.

💕 We also offer customized Proposal Packages, designed to set the perfect scene for “yes.” These can include deluxe floral arrangements, romantic décor such as a “Marry Me” sign, and optional professional photography to capture the moment.

🌅 Want to go all out? Our Sunset Luxe Experience lets you build the ultimate luxury picnic with upgrades from our Sparkle Menu — charcuterie boards, specialty desserts, balloon bouquets, fresh flowers, extra time, or even live music.

✨ Every picnic is personalized to your occasion, and optional add-ons are available so you can create the exact experience you imagine.

Our luxury picnics are hosted on the beautiful public beaches of Charlevoix — including Michigan Beach and Depot Beach — in designated areas approved by the City of Charlevoix.

✨ Booking your Sparkle Picnic is simple!

1. Submit a Request – Fill out our reservation form with your preferred date, time, guest count, and any add-ons from the Sparkle Menu.

2. Confirm Details – We’ll contact you within 24 hours to confirm availability, location, and any special touches you’d like.

3. Secure Your Date – A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your picnic.

4. Enjoy the Magic – Arrive on your picnic day and step into your styled setup — we’ll take care of everything, including clean-up. 🌸🥂

Our picnics are created for two guests, with room to comfortably seat up to four 🧺. Need more space? We can extend the setup to host up to eight guests 🥂. For larger groups, just let us know — we’ll do our best to make sure everyone can relax and enjoy. 🌸✨

You may also bring your own food, or arrange for personal food delivery. Special orders and add-ons will be waiting at your picnic site, and we even offer butler-style delivery during your picnic for an additional charge.

Alcohol service is not provided by Sparkling Engagements. Some City parks may allow BYOB (beer or wine) within local regulations, but please check with us when booking so we can confirm what’s permitted at your chosen location.

Optional add-ons (charcuterie, desserts, balloons, flowers, etc.) are listed with prices for 2 guests. For larger groups, an additional per-person cost is noted beside each upgrade so everyone can enjoy the experience. 🌟

❓ What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

✨ A $150 deposit is required to reserve your picnic date, and this deposit is non-refundable.

🌸 If you need to reschedule, we’ll happily work with you to move your picnic to another available date. We ask that you notify us at least 7 days in advance so we can accommodate your request.

🌧 In the case of bad weather, we’ll do our best to reschedule your picnic. If rescheduling isn’t possible, your deposit can be applied toward a future booking within the same season.

💕 Our goal is to be flexible and ensure your special day still Sparkles, even if plans change.

🌸 We schedule picnics from mid-March through mid-October, weather permitting.

✨ Our peak season is June, July, and August, when warm evenings and summer sunsets make lakeside picnics especially popular.

💕 To secure your preferred date and time, we recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance — earlier if you’re planning for weekends, holidays, or proposal picnics during peak months.

🌸 We’re flexible with scheduling and will do our best to accommodate your preferred time.

✨ Generally, our picnics are offered in three windows:

• Midday – around 12:00–2:00 PM for a light, sunny picnic 🧺

• Afternoon – flexible start times for a relaxed lakeside experience 🌸

• Evening – perfectly timed to catch the sunset over the water 🌅

💕 If you have a special request outside these times, just let us know — we’ll do our best to make your picnic day Sparkle.

🌅 For guests who want to elevate their celebration, we offer our Sunset Luxe Experience — a personalized luxury picnic with thoughtful upgrades.

🌧 Since our picnics are outdoors, we keep a close eye on the forecast. If the weather isn’t cooperating, we’ll work with you to reschedule to another available date.

🌸 We want every guest to feel comfortable and included. However, many of our picnics are hosted on public beaches, and these areas are not always designed with full handicap accessibility. Because of this, we cannot guarantee special accommodations for mobility needs at this time.

✨ If accessibility is a concern, please let us know when booking. We’ll gladly recommend the most accessible locations within our setup area and adjust seating arrangements whenever possible, so every guest can enjoy a sparkling experience.

🧺 All of the décor, furniture, blankets, pillows, and tableware are part of your luxury rental and will be collected during clean-up.

✨ Any food, drinks, flowers, or balloons provided with your picnic are yours to enjoy and take home.

🌸 Nope — we handle everything for you!

✨ Your package includes full setup and clean-up service, so all you need to do is arrive, relax, and enjoy your sparkling picnic.

💕 When your time is up, just head out and leave the rest to us — we’ll pack up all décor, furniture, and rentals. We kindly ask that you take any personal items or personal trash with you when you leave. 🧺✨

💬 🌸 Not at all — we handle the full setup and styling before you arrive, and the complete clean-up once your picnic is over.

✨ During the duration of your picnic, however, you are responsible for all items provided. Any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment may result in an additional fee.

🔥 For safety, open flame candles are not permitted at any time, and Sparkling Engagements is not liable for any consequences of live fire.

💕 Please do not leave your picnic unattended. If you’d like to leave early, simply message us 15 minutes before your departure, and we’ll return promptly to pack up your setup.

No — Charlevoix’s beaches are public spaces, so other visitors may be nearby. We carefully select more secluded areas to create a private, comfortable atmosphere while respecting public access for everyone.

Sparkling Engagements by Paige is an independent local business operating with permission from the City of Charlevoix. We are not employed by or affiliated with the City, but all events are fully permitted and follow City guidelines to preserve the beauty of Charlevoix’s public spaces.
